Wisconsin Soup Company is a fast-growing, local company with the opportunity for growth and advancement. We are seeking an assistant cook to join our team. Preferred hours are 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, 5 days per week. Pay based on experience. Bonuses awarded based on performance. The right candidate has advancement potential as our company grows!

Hours: 9:00AM - 4:00PM

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist head cook with a variety of tasks to keep production running efficiently
• Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas in compliance with food safety and sanitation practices
• Package completed products; operate packaging machine
• Assist in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed
• Close the kitchen properly and follow the closing checklist for the kitchen 

Qualifications:

• Previous kitchen experience preferred, but training provided for the right candidate
• Must be able to communicate clearly with manager and other staff
• Have an understanding of food safety, quality, and cleanliness (already have or be able to attain ServSafe certification)
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
• Drug Test & Background Check required
